Nuneaton Town Football Club is saddened by the news that former Boro player Tony Richards has passed away. Richards played for the club between 1966 and 1967 he made 131 appearances, six as a substitute, and scored a fantastic 85 goals.

Richards played a massive part in the 1966-67 FA Cup journey, when over  18,000 saw the Swansea game and an incredible 22,000-packed into Manor Park for the 1-1 draw against Rotherham.
