BBritannia Tyres was established back in 1980, originally called Hinckley Tyre Services the business began operating out of its first depot in Earlsdon. From the very beginning the home of real choice philosophy helped to quickly establish the company, the success of the Earsldon depot lead the following year to a move to a new location in Abbotts Lane in Coventry.

The company continued to grow with a second depot opening in Hinckley in 1987 shortly followed by a number of name changes a decision in late 1993 lead to Brittania Tyres being born.New depots quickly followed; firstly in 1996 the Nuneaton depot was opened followed by Bristol in 1999.

An existing tyre retailer Challenger Tyres in Derby was purchased in 2002 bringing the total to the current number of 5 depots.
