PREVIEW: Trotman in upbeat mood ahead of FC United of Manchester clash

Boro on the road this weekend...

BORO are on the road this weekend as we travel to FC United of Manchester (kick-off 3.00pm).
Like ourselves, our hosts are searching for a new manager after Karl Marginson departed the club this week after 12 years at the helm as the only manager they have had in their history.
He leaves the club in 21st place in the table with 11 points to their name from the opening 14 League games.
For Boro we’ll be looking to bounce back from our home defeat at the hands of Stockport County last weekend, just hours after Tommy Wright announced his shock departure.
“Given the situation, this is a big game for both clubs,” admitted Luke Trotman. “Both clubs will be looking to give themselves a kick-start and these are the kind of games that we need to be winning.
“It’ll be an open game; we’ll be more solid than last weekend and will go there with the right mindset.
“The boys have responded well in training this week. We’ve worked hard and got on with our job.
“Obviously we’d like to get the managerial situation sorted out as soon as possible, but we’re all together and feeling upbeat.
“We just want to get back out there and add to our points tally.”
