BRADY HICKEY: Happy with contribution

2 months ago By OL 2

Impressive display by Hickey...

IT MAY have been Ashley Chambers who took the headlines with a hat-trick, but Brady Hickey can be extremely pleased with his display in the 3-0 victory over Southport.
The summer signing weighed in with two assists and saw a header superbly saved by the ‘keeper in what was a lively and energetic performance.
“It was a good performance all-round from the lads,” he said. “We were solid in the first half and probably deserved to go in leading by more than the one goal at the break.
“We were convincing in the second half and fully deserved the win. It was nice to see Chambo get another hat-trick.
“I was happy with my contribution; it is easy to play well when the team is firing and our momentum is building now.
“We’ll look to kick-on again in the next game and make FA Cup progress. Everyone is feeling positive.”
