Nuneaton Town's complaint to the Worcestershire FA over the signing of Ben Pugh by Evesham United has been upheld.

The County FA met in Droitwich to consider the complaint and found without the need for a hearing in person that the Evo-Stik Premier League club had breached rules with respect to signing players and the approach of Pugh.

Fined £100 and warned to their future conduct the Worcestershire side was found to have not followed the FA's rules with respect to the approach of players.

Pugh played for Evesham on December 30, an act the panel considered to be in breach of the rules. Evesham went on to beat Redditch Utd in the Evo-Stik Premier Division 1-0.

While Nuneaton Town consider the matter at a close, the panel's findings leaves the door open for the Evo-Stik Southern League to take action and for Redditch Utd to make a complaint to the league with respect to their game.
