PREVIEW: Boro back on home soil tonight

Boss looking to extend unbeaten run against AFC Telford United...

BORO are back on home soil tonight with the visit of AFC Telford United to the LDJ Solicitors Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm).
Our opponents sit just one place and one point above us in the table, although it is interesting to note that all of their nine points so far have been gained away from home.
“Rob Edwards came in during the summer and has assembled a talented young team,” admitted Boro boss, Tommy Wright. “As they find their feet I am sure that they will start to climb the table.
“They will provide another tough test for us, but if we can play like we did against Alfreton Town on Saturday and combine it with an end product, then we will give ourselves every chance of getting the right result and extending our unbeaten run.
“When you create as many good chances as we did in our last game, nine times out of ten you will win. We had to settle for a draw on that occasion but we are determined to add the three points to our tally tonight.
“Some of our football really was a joy to watch on Saturday. That’s our philosophy and it won’t change.”
Alex Henshall will miss out after picking up an injury at the weekend, whilst Courtney Wildin has this week departed the club by mutual consent.
