PREVIEW: Boro ready to dig in tonight

6 months ago By OL 2

Massive test at Salford City this evening...

JUST like in our last game, Boro face another side in good form this evening as we head to Salford City (kick-off 7.45pm).
Our hosts sit in second place in the table, level on points with leaders, Harrogate Town, with one defeat from their ten League games so far.
“It’s a massive test for us,” admitted manager, Tommy Wright. “They are another side on a great run of form and the strength in depth that they have is there to admire.
“I’m sure they will be confident of adding to their points tally, but we will go there dig in and show character to get something out of the game.
“We’re still missing key players, but we are determined to go up there and give it everything that we’ve got.
“I was happy with our performance on the whole at Bradford Park Avenue on Saturday. It was a game that could have gone either way and had we kept 11 men on the pitch, I feel we would have gone on to win it.
“That said, I was delighted by the way in which we handled the situation and the character and work-rate that the lads displayed.
“What Bradford Park Avenue have done is show that two or three wins on the spin in this League can make a big difference to the outlook.”
Supporters can pay in cash at the turnstiles tonight and will not be segregated for this fixture. Boro supporters are to use the ‘A’ turnstile on Moor Lane for access to the designated ‘away’ end of the ground. If they wish to do so they can then move freely around the ground.
Admission prices are, as follows: Standard Adult: £10.00, Concessions: £5.00 (Over 60s, Under 16s and Students with ID) and Under 5s free.
Supporters with mobility issues should use the ‘B’ turnstile on Nevile Road to access the ground. Once inside they will be able to move to any part of the ground.
A full range of refreshments will be available inside the ground. There is a ‘fan zone’ behind the West Stand and Nuneaton Town supporters are very welcome to use the facilities there. There is also a refreshment van situated at the end of the ground usually occupied by away supporters.
