PREVIEW: Buoyant Boro head to Boston on Bank Holiday

1 month ago By OL 2

Boro looking to build on convincing win on Saturday...

BORO are back in action on Bank Holiday Monday as we head to Boston United in buoyant mood following our 4-0 victory over Leamington on Saturday.
"The lads put in the kind of performance that we know we are capable of," purred manager, Tommy Wright. "Everyone did their job; we looked a threat every time we went forward and scored some great goals.
"Hopefully this will give us the confidence to kick-on and start building some momentum.
"We go to Boston in upbeat mood and ready for this latest challenge."
Our hosts lost 2-1 at FC United of Manchester on Saturday in a game which saw them reduced to nine men.
They sit in 16th place in the table with six points from their opening six League games.
