PREVIEW: Chambers ready to take on former club

Boro head to York City on Saturday...

BORO are back on the road again this weekend as we head up to York City looking to make a return to winning ways.
The Minstermen were relegated from the Vanarama National League at the end of last term, a campaign in which they beat us in the FA Trophy, on their way to winning the competition at Wembley.
For Ashley Chambers it will be a return to one of his former clubs where he won the FA Trophy in 2012 and also helped them return to The Football League during a successful time in Yorkshire.
“I had a great time at York,” he said without hesitation. “There are a lot of very happy memories from my time at the club.
“I’m looking forward to going back up there; it will be nice to see some familiar faces, but, of course, I hope that they will be disappointed at the end as we take all three points.
“It will be another tough game for us, there’s no doubt about that, but whilst we haven’t got the results yet, there have been good aspects of our play in the last three games.
“A result at a club like York could give us a kick-start. We’ve been working hard on certain areas of our game and we’re looking forward to the challenge.
“I’ve got a lot of respect for York, both the club and the City, but it would be nice to score a goal or two against them!”
