REACTION: Boss on our Bank Holiday draw

3 months ago By OL 2

Even game ends all square...

BORO boss, Tommy Wright, has given his reaction to our 1-1 draw at Boston United where Mitchell Glover's late goal was cancelled out in stoppage time.
"It was a fair result," he said. "Whilst I am frustrated to see us concede so late from another set-play, this was a game that could have gone either way and was evenly-matched throughout.
"We put Mitch on late and he went onto the pitch without fear. He's so mature in the way that he plays the game and it was nice to see him get his first senior goal.
"It means we are two games unbeaten now and with two successive home games coming up, we have a chance to extend that run and add some more points to our tally."
