REACTION: Wright purring as we secure deserved win

Boss on our victory over Darlington...

BORO boss, Tommy Wright, was purring with some of our attacking play in the 2-1 victory over Darlington.
"The boys gave me everything out there," he said. "We started extremely well and blew them off the park for the opening 20 minutes or so.
"Our attacking play was relentless and they just couldn't get a foothold in the game.
"However, we only had one goal to show for our efforts and we were given a warning when they hit the woodwork.
"It was imperative that we got a second goal early in the second half and in the end the only disappointment was that we conceded with virtually the last kick of the game.
"We were a lot tighter at the back; we worked extremely hard defensively during the week and it showed.
"All of our focus was on getting things right at the back because I know that we are always a threat in an attacking sense and we do it with such pace.
"The lads have set the standard now; we're back at home again next week and we've got to work just as hard as this. I am confident in our ability to win on home soil and already we are looking forward to the next game and continuing our climb up the table."
