TOMMY WRIGHT: Let's put smiles on faces

Boss looking forward to Warwickshire derby on Saturday...

THE COUNTDOWN is on for Saturday's big Warwickshire derby as we renew acquaintances with Leamington here at the LDJ Solicitors Stadium (kick-off 3.00pm).
Both clubs have three points from their opening five League games, so will be in search of the points to kick-start the campaign and get the Bank Holiday weekend off to a positive start.
"There are bragging rights at stake with fans of both teams and both sets of players wanting to ensure they are the ones going home with smiles on their faces," said Boro boss, Tommy Wright."After a difficult start to the season, we sit in the bottom three. Luckily for us promotions aren’t achieved in August and with 37 games still to play, and sitting six points off the play-offs, I am not concerned at all.
"The lads have been bright all week; we have enjoyed the fact that there has been no midweek fixture as it has allowed us extra time to work on the training pitch.
"We have taken the positives from the games played so far and hopefully we have learnt lessons too.
"We can't wait to get out there on Saturday and hopefully we'll have a good crowd behind us to cheer us on to victory."
Come on, we need you all right behind Boro on Saturday!
