AFC Wulfrunians were handed a comprehensive defeat by Nuneaton Town as they exited the Birmingham Senior Cup at the Second Round stage in their final home game of 2015. The difference in class was clear to see as the visitors ran away with the game from an early stage.
Wulfs fell behind after just four minutes- Marlon Harewood put Tshimanga Kabonga in behind the defence, his shot was saved by Tim Beech but James Reid was on hand to fire into the empty net.
Nuneaton’s lead was doubled in the 19th minute as Jack Lane’s shot from the edge of the area curled just past Beech’s outstretched hand.
10 minutes before half-time, Harewood added a goal of his own as he hit a powerful shot into the top corner.
Although Wulfs looked livelier to begin the second half, the goals began to flood in again after 56 minutes.
Kabonga began the scoring in the second half as he fired in from a tight angle.
A close range header from Joe Maguire extended the lead further after 60 minutes as Wulfs failed to deal with a corner.

Williams added his second of the game 14 minutes from time, as he latched onto a through ball by Reid and placed the ball through the ‘keeper’s legs.
Three goals in the final eleven minutes rounded off a disappointing night for Wulfs.
Billy Daniels grabbed a goal, before Williams turned provider for Nathan Hicks.
