An emphatic home victory saw Nuneaton Town progress in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
A pair of braces from Jordan Nicholson and Ashley Chambers, along with a Daniel Nti header did the damage on a positive afternoon for the Boro.
Cup success was a high priority for Boro after an early FA Cup exit earlier in the campaign and they got off to the best possible start.
With just over a quarter of an hour on the clock Boro opened the scoring when Peterborough loanee Nicholson struck.
Despite appearing off balance the attacker fired low beyond Ross Durrant in the visitors goal.
Lifted by the goal Boro went for the kill and got their just rewards.
A corner technique, that was clearly practiced on the training ground gave Boro their second. A Ryan Beswick delivery was met by Nti who nodded home from close range to double the advantage.

Having missed an early chance, the frontman found the target thanks to his favoured right foot.
Within five minutes of his first Chambers doubled his tally for the afternoon. More pressure from the hosts saw Nicholson cut back the ball to Chambers who made no mistake from inside the area.
After the break the visitors started brightly. Mason Warren had a free kick turned round the post by Dean Lyness, before Jon Ashton had to be on hand with a timely goal line clearance.
At the other end Chambers was denied a hat-trick when his curling chip struck the crossbar, before North Ferriby found the net.
Callum Rzonca was on hand to stab home inside the six-yard box, but it only proved a consolation as Boro added a fifth late on.
A swift forward surge from Nicholson saw him fire home an unstoppable drive into the bottom corner. However he was to denied a treble when moments later he saw an effort cleared off the line.
Boro go into Monday’s draw ahead of a league trip to today’s opponents on Saturday.
