Lucas Dawson and Josh Rees
Boss Liam Daish has had a busy day securing the signings of Lucas Dawson and Josh Rees.
Central midfielder Dawson joins on a permanent deal after being released by Stoke City.
He joined Stoke from Everton as a youth player and was on the bench when Stoke played Besiktas and Valencia in the Europa League.
He had a spell on loan at Carlisle where he made his senior league debut.
Liam Daish commented "Lucas is a talented central midfield player who will add further strength to an important area of the team" with Lucas adding "I hope i can show my attributes and do all i can for Nuneaton and help them get the points they need to stay in the Conference Premier".
Also joining, on loan for the rest of the season, is fellow midfielder Josh Rees from Nottingham Forest.
Rees joined Nottingham Forest’s youth team from Arsenal and made his first team debut for Forest as a substitute in a 2–1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in May 2014.
